The story was utterly outrageous: flop covered theatrical producer Max Bialystock realizes the road to his financial redemption lies in producing the worst musical ever written, raising $25,000 of the capital, and pocketing it all when the show is a one-night-only disaster. Winner of a record-breaking 12 Tony Awards, The Producers was remade into a popular movie musical in 2006. It closed on Broadway in April 2007. Chanhassen Dinner Theatres is one of three elite regional theatres in the U.S. to receive the rights to produce The Producers! Don’t miss it!
